Albion Place
The Place was said to be named after the pub and the Place itself was described as a court, off Chapel Place. The pub later became the "Carpenter's Arms". The whole area had been designated for slum clearance in 1937 and that year, much of the property was empty and ready for demolition. The war that followed, and the subsequent housing shortage extended their life however by another thirty years.
