The School has a programme of Drug Education which is centred around Personal, Social and Health Education lessons. The programme includes presentations by the Police Youth Crime Reduction Officer and School Nursing Service with consideration given to both the legal and health implications of drug misuse. The School also has a procedure for dealing with drug related incidents should any ever arise. All of these issues are discussed at various stages but the nature of the work depends on the level of understanding and maturity of the students concerned.
