BOYS BEAT PUPIL IN VENDETTA

SCHOOLBOYS who chased and beat up a 12-year-old boy, pinning him to the ground with a lump of concreate, are being sought by police.
The attack happened on Friday and is in a series of incidents which have taken
place the Astor Avenue and Tower Hamlets area of Dover.
The victims, pupils from the Boys' Grammar School, have been
subjected to verbal and physical abuse as they leave the school grounds. They
have also been spat no.
Abusive graffiti has been chalked on the school drive and walls.
The latest attack was on a pupil from the Deal area as he was walking along Noah's Ark Road on Friday afternoon.
There was verbal abuse, and then a group of four youths, believed to come from
another school, began to chase him.
They caught up with him on waste ground and one of them
punched him in the ribs. Another hit him in the eye.
He fell, to the ground, where he was kicked and spat on.
One youth then placed a chunk of concrete on the boy's thigh
and held it in place with his foot, preventing the boy from getting up.
The youths pulled his hair and threatened to kill him before running off.
The boy later went to Deal hospital, where he was treated for rib and eye injuries.
Police are also investigating reports that young motor- cyclists are driving recklessly up and down the hill as pupils leave school.
