Grammar boys on song
DOVER Grammar School for Boys, singing the school hymn, was featured in a BBC-2
programme The Essential History of Europe, last week.
The BBC had invited Frenchman Patrick de Gall, from
Continentales France 3, to direct the programme, highlighting his views on the
United Kingdom.
The programme, ranging throughout the UK. opened with aerial
shots of the white cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle, where Terry Sutton of the
Dover Express was interviewed about the way the nation's entry into the European
Community had made changes.
The series, about altitudes and experiences in Europe today
through the eyes of its people, continues on Thursday evenings featuring
Portugal, Luxembourg and Belgium.

are to exhibit their an at Deal library between March 1 and March 12.
The exhibition is to feature a selection of work by senior
students preparing for GCSE and Advanced level GCE in an and design through a
variety of media, including drawing, silk screen and lino cut printing making,
and graphic design.
