 A visit by American basketball star Alan "Swoop" Cunningham enthralled Dover Grammar School boys.

The former Harlem Globetrotter gave a talk and a demonstration and was pictured with the boys on Thursday to boost the pupils' interest in basketball and raise money for charity at the same time.

My Cunningham - 6ft 7½in and with size 14 feet - towered above the boys.

It is not yet known how much has been raised, but there will be prizes for the boys who collect the most.

Some of the money goes to the Pritt Superschool award scheme, which benefits young people.
