GOODBYE: Section commanders with the cadets

A parade ground farewell to cadets

CADETS gathered to say farewell to their section commanders.

The parade of some of the 75 members of Dover Grammar School for Boys Army Cadet Force was organised by its overall commander Flight Lieutenant Paul Barnes in recognition of the work done by Mitu Islam, Kieran Dennard and Richard Berridge.

 At the ceremony the students, who are revising for their A Levels, handed over the insignia of their rank to their replacements, Max Hayward, Robert Ayling and Holly Thomas 17.

Mr Barnes said: "My senior cadets did a superb job and I hope their replacements will live up to that."
