TWO schools and a Dover company have won awards (or meeting a national standard guaranteeing the quality of staff training and development.
The Investors in People award was presented to Neil Slater, head of Dover Grammar School for Boys, Valerie Wright, head of Capel Primary School and Ian Murton, operations manager of RJB Hire, of Coombe Valley Road, Dover.
The awards were presented at Leeds Castle, Maidstone, by Malcolm Allan; chief executive of the Learning and Business Link Company.
Mr Allan said they had devoted time and effort to match the exacting criteria set by the Investors in People standard.
He said: "They have shown they understand there is a strong link between the training of staff and the achievement of business goals.
