Grammar boys' carol service will include a range of styles
THE choir of Dover Grammar School for Boys present their annual carol service in Charlton Church on Wednesday, December 15, at 8pm.
The school has a strong choral tradition and has performed choral works in regular concerts.
In the past decade under director of music Richard Davies, the carol service has become an important event in the school year.

It will include five favourite Christmas hymns for all to sing, accompanied by organ and the school brass ensemble.
The nine Bible readings telling the story of Christmas will be read by pupils, staff, parents, ex-pupils and governors.
The school choir will sing 14 carols ranging from traditional favourites to contemporary pieces.
The organist will be assistant director of music at the school Paul Baldock, and the service will be led by the Rev Nick De Keyser rector of Charlton.
The public are invited.
