Hugh still on course for Olympic medal glory

WORLD class sailor Hugh Styles, of Dover Road, Sandwich, holds bronze medal position at the Sydney Olympics, 'as we went to press.

Helmsman Hugh, 25, and his crew, Adam May, 26, are competing in the Tornado class, sailing a two-handed catamaran.

Former Dover Grammar School student, Hugh who started sailing at the age of six, looks set to take home an Olympic medal from the games this year.

The team's last race is on Sunday and the medal ceremony will be on Monday.

After four races the GBR Olympic team are in third place overall with -20 points, behind Australia and Austria.
