SIXTH form students at Dover Boys Grammar swapped their usual teacher for local Liberal Democrat Antony Hook as part of their politics course.
Mr Hook, a former pupil of the school, visited last Thursday to talk to the students about Liberal Democrat policies. The students also took the opportunity to ask him questions about the party’s views on issues affecting them like university fees and loans.
The talk was part of a series which also features representatives from Labour, the Conservatives and the Green Party visiting the school.
Head of politics Mike Harrison said: “We try to get outside speakers in to talk about as many subjects as possible.
“The people involved with the parties obviously have a much better knowledge than we do”
