Money from the trust.
THE Dubris Trust, set up by former town clerk James A Johnson, has distributed more than £100,000 to students living in the old Dover borough over 19 years.
This was announced by Dubris trustee John Turnpenny when he presented a cheque to Tim Wheeler at Dover Grammar School for Boys to help further his education at Bath University.
Mr Turnpenny, an old boy of Dover College, reported that in the 19 years existence of the trust £85,000 had been distributed in major awards and a further £22,000 in minor awards to 15 boys and six girls, all of whom lived in the old Dover borough.
