FINAL STARS:

The Dover and Deal Under-12 team who took on Bromley in the English Schools' area cup final at the Charles Ground on Thursday. Against a strong, confident Bromley side, Dover and Deal battled well throughout and went into half-time trailing by only one goal.

However, Bromley scored twice early in the second half to put hopes of a comeback out of reach.

However, the team battled on to the end and could take pride in their achievement in reaching the final.
