On Thursday it kicked off with a presentation challenging the boys to prepare themselves for work by having the edge over their rivals in getting the job, university place or exam results they want.

Later that day a workshop given by cricket bat craftsman Bernie Facer, who has been making bats for 40 years, showed the boys how to make a bat by hand.

On Friday there was a presentation from England and Yorkshire cricketer Clare Taylor OBE. She answered questions about her passionate approach to sport with the hope that the boys would be motivated to work hard and achieve their goals.

Over the two days there was a series of physical challenges aimed at motivating both pupils and staff beyond their expectations.
