YOUNGSTERS at Dover Grammar School for Boys have been celebrating their achievements during the past year.
The 11 to 16-year-olds attended a prize-giving ceremony at the school where pupils were awarded with certificates for hard work in everything from sports to music.
Guest speaker at the event was footballer Bob Bolder, who now works with the Charlton Athletic community scheme.
More than 100 certificates were given out for sporting achievements, contribution to music, excellence in art, participation in the Carnegie reading group and excelling in curriculum subjects.
Head teacher Sally Lees said: “I would like to offer my congratulations to all the prize-winners who have been recognised for their excellent work and contribution to the school this year.
“Prizegiving is all about recognising and rewarding your achievements and celebrating excellence.”
