Students set for Asia visit

These new bilingual lessons are just one part of the school’s drive to make pupils appreciate the wider world.
This week four students joined head teacher Sally Lees and assistant head teacher David Howarth on a trip to Taiwan as part of the British Council’s Connecting Classrooms project.
Mrs Lees said: “The international dimension is very important to us at DGSB and we have been part of the Connecting Classrooms project with south east Asia for the last two years.
“Last year 30 Korean students came to our school for a fortnight and I am delighted that some of our students now have the opportunity to travel to Taiwan.”
