Riots race row teacher loses his job

THE Conservative councillor and school teacher who made racist comments on social networking site Facebook has lost his job.

Bob Frost a part time maths teacher at Sir Roger Manwood’s School in Sandwich, came to a mutual agreement with the school’s management on Monday, September 5.

Head teacher Chris Morgan said: “I can confirm that Mr Frost is no longer employed at Sir Roger Manwood’s School.”

The comments, made in the wake of last month’s London riots, referred to “jungle bunnies.” Cllr Frost has since apologised for the remark..

The Conservative Party is yet to decide the North Deal district and town councillor’s fate.

Cllr Paul Watkins, leader of the district council, said: “The suspension remains in place until we can speak to Bob Frost and give him the opportunity to respond”.
