A GARDEN party was held in Kingsdown last week to mark the launch of a special CD.
David Harding, on behalf of Kingsdown Conservation Group, has produced a CD entitled Memories of Kingsdown which reminisces about life in the village from the 1920s to 1960s.
“It was put together by interviewing a dozen or so elderly local residents,” said Mr Harding.
“Some of the facts and local colour that emerge are quite fascinating.
“Hopefully it might inspire a few other local villages to do something similar.”
The CD will be on sale in shops in the village, and from the group itself.
