Computer Games CD Thin Card Transport Case.

A computer games software company called “A. B. CD’s” are producing a new line in cheap games for sale at the various outlets in the usual CD format. To keep the cost down and to save on transportation space they will not be using the “crystal cases” but would like someone to design a thin card envelope made from folded and glued card in which to place the CD’s.

Using A3 paper, you will need a border, your name in the bottom right hand corner and the following design criteria:-

The A3 sheet should have the title CARD CD CARRYING CASE as a title at the top/middle of the page, in your chosen style/font and in colour.

You are to draw and dimension the Net/Development of the card-carrying case as it would look before folding, and indicate the folding points and places to be glued.

Within the Net/Development you should design a colourful logo of the company name “A. B. CD’s” and also the title of the game. The design should also contain graphics in full colour in line with the game title. It is your choice what the game is.

You may use computer graphics or hand drawn. Felt tip pens or biro’s are NOT to be used.

Border 5 marks for design, 5 marks for neatness

Name 5 marks for neatness

Title 10 marks for design, neatness, and colour

Design 10 marks for correct dimensioning

35 marks for design front. Colour and neatness.

30 marks for design back. Colour and neatness.
