Television Weather Presentation Board.
A new Cable TV station has just been formed in your area. The weather presentation is local to Kent and South East England. You have been asked to produce the backboard that contains the map and symbols needed for presentation during broadcasts.
Using A3 paper, you will need a border, your name in the bottom right hand corner and the following design criteria:-
The title of this folio is TV WEATHER PRESENTATION and should be in neat letters of your chosen style/font in the top-middle of the A3 paper.
Divide the remainder of your A3 folio into two parts with a line/border extension down the middle of the page so you have a left and right hand area.
The left hand area should contain a map of the area your broadcaster is going to forecast the weather for.
The right hand of the folio should contain a selection of the overlays used on the map. I.e. Wind speed, Temperature indication, type of weather overlays (sun, cloud, rain, snow, etc.)
You may use computer graphics if available, coloured pencils etc. Biros and felt tip pens are NOT to be used.
Marking scheme.
Border 5 marks for design, 5 marks for neatness
Name 5 marks for neatness
Title 10 marks for design, neatness, and colour
15 marks for map
10 marks for wind speed indicators
10 marks for temperature indicators
40 marks for various weather overlays
