Title Page.

Using A3 paper, you will need a border, your name in the bottom right hand corner and the following design criteria:-

This page is the first one people will see, as the rest of your design folio’s will be bound in order behind it; thus, it MUST be brightly coloured, neat and have a theme along the lines of the contents. This page, I have saved till almost last, so that you are aware of the contents in total.

The title of the page is DESIGN FOLIO YEAR (your year, 7, 8 or 9) and must be shown as large as you like in the centre of the page.

Around the title, I suggest you chose at least 4 of the better “parts” of your designs from any of your homework projects that you have so far completed. (That means a small part, or similar, or even better part of each design, not the full page and it’s your choice what 4 to choose.)

Marking scheme.

Border 5 marks for design, 5 marks for neatness

Name 5 marks for neatness

Title 25 marks

Designs around title 15 marks for each of the 4.

Please note. It would be wise to spend the most time on the aspect of your design that offers the most marks.

You may use any type of drawing equipment, including felt tip pens, biro’s paint etc. Emphasis is made on neatness.
