DESIGN PROJECT V

9 hole golf course.

(VIEW LAST TERMS DESIGNS)

A farmer has some land that he has applied for and received planning permission to convert it into a 9 hole golf course. You have been asked to design the layout of these nine holes so that the golfers can tee off from the club house, complete their round and return to the club house on completion of hole 9. Both hole 1 and 9 should be able to be viewed from the club house.

Please read these instructions carefully before you start this design project.

Using A3 paper, you will need a 30mm border, your name in the bottom right hand corner and the following design criteria:-

The title of this folio is NINE HOLE GOLF COURSE and should be in neat letters of your chosen style/font in the top-middle of the A3 paper.

The shape and size of the golf course is proportionally the same shape as your A3 sheet of paper, after you have completed your name and title.

The club house is to be situated in the bottom left hand corner of the page and should be indicated by a box exactly 50mm X 30mm.

The border of this folio is to contain a key of symbols or colours of what you have chosen to indicate on the layout of the plan of your golf course. I.e. Club house, trees, bunkers, rough, fairway, green, hole, paths, rivers, roads, etc.

The main centre area of the A3 folio you will show the layout and numbering of the 9 holes of your golf course. You may include roads, trees, rivers, bunkers, paths etc. anywhere you like within this area and they should correspond to the key you have placed within the border of the folio.
